Empowerment hubs
Building scalable, community-owned skill centres so that capacity stays in the community after every grant cycle ends.
Why this matters
Project-based interventions help, but they end. Empowerment hubs are the longer game: physical, governed, locally staffed places where vocational training, health programmes, and youth development can compound year after year.
How we work
Each hub is co-designed with community leaders, local government, and youth representatives. The Foundation provides start-up capacity; the community provides governance and continuity.
- Co-designed siting and governance with local stakeholders
- Modular spaces for training, health, and youth programmes
- A local management committee accountable to the community
Where we are headed
Hubs that pay back the trust of their communities — and that other NGOs and partners can plug into to deliver their own programmes.
